I completed the Master Technical Medicine at the University of Twente in 2020, specializing in medical imaging and interventions. Throughout my Master's I gained experience during several internships in different hospitals, where I developed a strong interest in surgical departments. After my graduation project, which focused on the implementation of optical technologies to optimize breast cancer diagnosis and treatment, I continued as a PhD student. As a technical physician, I enjoy working on innovative technologies that can directly improve patient care. In my current research I am focusing on the development of a new approach for minimally invasive therapy in breast cancer.
