Leonor is a PhD candidate at the Netherlands Cancer Institute and Erasmus MC. Her research focuses on recall bias in patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs). She is working with the EORTC to study how different recall periods influence the way patients report symptoms such as pain, fatigue and physical functioning. Ultimately, her work aims to improve the validity and flexibility of PROMs and to develop guidelines for future research.

Leonor holds a bachelor’s degree in Medicine from the University of Coimbra, and a master’s in Nutrition and Health from Wageningen University, where she specialized in Nutritional and Public Health Epidemiology. During her studies, she investigated various topics, from GLP-1 receptor agonists to psychological resistance to reducing meat consumption.
