During my studies in Telecommunications Engineering I discovered my passion for healthcare and medical devices applications. This was the leading reason to start working in the development of a navigation solution for needle interventions at the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg. Currently I am member of the surgical oncology department's implementation team, where my research will focus on integrating navigation into clinical procedures.
