Phone Email Lodewyk Wessels

I received my PhD in 2008 from the University of Melbourne, Australia, where I studied the role of S6K in the regulation of ribosome biogenesis.

I then worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, where I helped to set up a genome-wide shRNA screening platform, which I then used to study drug response in various cancer models.

In 2011, I joined the group of Roderick Beijersbergen, where I combined ‘omics’ and high-throughput drug screening approaches to identify predictors of response to therapeutics in breast cancer.

In 2018, I joined the group of Lodewyk Wessels as an Associate Staff Scientist. My current focus is the development and application of multiplexed single cell sequencing approaches.
