In May 2019, I joined the Group of Marjanka Schmidt as a clinical PhD student, with Prof. Emiel Rutgers as my other supervisor. My projects focus on the role of the 70-gene signature (MammaPrint) for clinical decision making in breast cancer patients. Using data from the MINDACT trial, we aim to better identify those patients who benefit from adjuvant systemic treatments, and those who don’t benefit and could be spared adjuvant treatments.
