João Neto

I am an ambitious and versatile biomedical scientist with 8+ years of international experience in preclinical and translational cancer research. I am a passionate problem-solver and a firm believer that motivation fosters the best results in any organization.

I re-joined the group of Prof. Bernards in 2023 to follow-up on my PhD work (PMID: 32572029) and improve the understanding of the mechanisms of Multiple Low Dose treatment efficacy. In addition, I am also starting to develop my own research line, which aims to dissect the molecular mechanisms underlying therapy resistance and sensitivity in HER2-positive gastric cancer.
