Jitsa Soepnel works in a dual role as a Research Assistant and Junior Project Manager for several European initiatives focused on adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer, including the STRONG-AYA, COMPRAYA, PredictAYA, and PanCare4AYA projects. Her work spans both clinical research and international collaboration, contributing to efforts to improve care and quality of life for AYA cancer patients and survivors across Europe.
As a Research Assistant, she supports the coordination and execution of clinical research for the COMPRAYA study, which focuses on the long-term medical and psychosocial outcomes of adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer patients. In her role as Junior Project Manager, she contributes to the implementation and coordination of EU-funded AYA cancer projects, facilitating collaboration between international partners and supporting project activities across Europe.
She holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Health Sciences. Her interests lie in improving (cancer) care through multidisciplinary research, international collaboration, and the translation of scientific evidence into meaningful improvements for patients.
