Jeremi Olejnik

My academic background involves degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Warsaw University of Technology and University of Groningen. During my studies I worked on several projects in medical software development, computer vision, deep learning, and radiotherapy, applying advanced technology to clinical challenges.

In May 2026 I joined the group of Jan-Jakob Sonke as a PhD student, where I focus on AI-driven image quality improvements for radiotherapy guidance of moving targets. Specifically, I incorporate physiologically plausible respiratory signals and deformations into cone-beam CT (CBCT) image reconstruction algorithms.
