In September 2022 I joined the Van Rheenen group as a PhD student.
My project focusses on exploring the cues that are needed for breast cancer initiation through (intravital) imaging of the mammary gland and furthermore investigate which (micro)environmental signals influence this process.

2018 - 2022
Obtained my Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Life Science and Technology (Research specialization and Science Based Business). Here I did my internship at the NKI focused on the role of chromosomal instability in a breast cancer mouse model.

2014 - 2018
Obtained my Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Life Science and Technology from the Technical University of Delft and Leiden University. Here I performed my research internship at the clinical genetics department of the LUMC focused on Lynch syndrome in small bowel cancer.
