In September 2023, I joined the groups of Michiel van der Heijden and Lodewyk Wessels as a MD-PhD-student.
During my training to become a physician, I developed an interest in bioinformatics. Currently, I’m involved in the management of a clinical trial with immune checkpoint inhibitors in patients with urothelial cancer.
Also, I analyze multi-omics data of biospecimens using various analytical modalities including RNA-seq and multiplex immunofluorescence.
We aim to explore novel systemic treatment strategies and discover and validate predictive markers for patients with muscle-invasive and metastatic urothelial cell carcinoma.
