During my PhD in Vancouver, Canada, I identified novel anti-cancer compounds and characterized their mechanisms of action in preclinical lung cancer models. I then spent two years at the nearby VUmc, where I used advanced screening methods for target discovery and therapeutic development.
In September 2024, I joined Rik Lindeboom’s group and am using large-scale screens to investigate T cell-antigen interactions. By better understanding this fundamental biology, we hope to advance our ability to prevent, diagnose, and treat disease.
