I joined the Jonkers lab as a PhD student in January 2018. Here, I am characterizing the function and treatment response of a novel mouse model of breast cancer which carries a Brca1 missense mutation found in human patients. I also use mouse models to study male breast cancer.

2016 - 2018
I worked at MIT’s Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research, Cambridge, MA in the lab of Sangeeta Bhatia. There, I used nanoparticle technologies for drug delivery and early detection tools in pancreatic and colorectal cancers

2014 - 2016
I worked in the lab of Christopher Cowan at McLean Psychiatric Hospital, Belmont, MA using mouse models to study drug addiction

2010 - 2014
I received my B.Sc. in Biological Sciences concentrated in Animal Physiology from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY
