I joined Jan Jakob’s group in February 2026, and my PhD focuses on developing immune system-enhancing radiotherapy for rectal cancer. I combine biological and imaging data to explore how radiotherapy can be optimized to preserve immune function and improve its synergy with immunotherapy. More specifically, I investigate dose–effect relationships for radiation-induced lymphopenia and study how deep learning and quantitative imaging can support this goal.
Before starting my PhD, I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Biomedical Informatics, followed by a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics and Systems Biology.
