Chiara Iozzi

As a trainee student and then as a Research Fellow in Chiara Bonini’s group at San Raffaele Hospital in Milan, I worked in the generation and validation of engineered T cells for the adoptive T cell therapy of colorectal cancer liver metastases.

In February 2024, driven by the curiosity on how T-cells could be a good cellular source for solid cancer therapies, I joined the group of John Haanen as a PhD student. Here, my project focuses on the identification of new tumor (neo)antigens recognized by T-cells and on the improvement of T-cell products fitness.
