Beatrijs has been working as a radiologist at the NKI-AVL since 2019. Her clinical work focuses on abdominal radiology and breast radiology. She has special interest in melanoma imaging. She has been intrigued by oncology from early on in her medical career. This interest was further fueled when she became a research scholar at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, working in the field of immunotherapy. In her research, she aims to combine her passion for oncologic radiology, immunotherapy and radiomics/artificial intelligence. In addition to her clinical training, she also graduated from the Epidemiology Master’s program at Utrecht University.
