Annemiek Lieffering

In February 2025, Annemiek joined the research group as a postdoctoral researcher. Her current work focuses on the long-term and late effect of cancer in adolescents and young adults. Annemiek specializes in linking and analyzing large-scale, quantitative real-world data, such as nationwide hospital registries, to derive insights that inform clinical practice. With a background in epidemiology, she earned her PhD through health care registry-based research on the association between breast implants and health symptoms, also known as Breast Implant Illness.
