Anke Boumans

Anke is a PhD student with a background as an occupational therapist and a master's degree in the field of Work, Health and Career. Currently, she is combining her job as a teacher at the University of Applied Sciences in Amsterdam (HvA) with a parttime PhD trajectory at the NKI/AvL, in collaboration with the AUMC. In the CONNECT-AYA project she works together with AYA co-researchers to develop a support program that contributes to participation in education or entering the workforce of AYAs diagnosed during their studies. Collaborating and working hard to make a change: worth it!
