My PhD focuses on using AI for Histopathological images towards a personalized immunotherapy treatment. We detect cells in H&E stained images and investigate their correlation with the immune system response of patients. We hope to reduce the manual labour and costs of annotating millions of cells in WSIs by automating the task with machine learning algorithms.
