What is the destiny of anti-cancer drugs in the human body? Human body cells contain all kinds of proteins that pump drugs out of the cell and break them down.
During her PhD research Stephanie van Hoppe investigated how these proteins counteract cancer medicines. On Wednesday September 25th she will defend her thesis at Utrecht University.
