Rosa van der Kaaij will defend her thesis on oesophageal and gastric cancer treatment on Friday September 21st. She investigated how patient and tumor characteristics could help improve the selection of patients for oesophageal cancer treatment. She also studied the outcome of stomach removal in people with an inherited predisposition to gastric cancer. Good luck on Friday Rosa van der Kaaij!
