Thesis defense biological safety officer Kees Korbee

05-03-2019

On March 6th Kees Korbee will defend is thesis on a new method for treating antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections. This treatment targets the human cells in which bacteria are hiding instead of the bacteria themselves. Korbee did his research, which followed directly from work by the Netherlands Cancer Institute, at the Leiden University Medical Center. After completing his research he joined the Netherlands Cancer Institute as biological safety officer. Good luck Kees!

Read more about his research in Nature Communications.
