With great pleasure we present the 2023 Scientific Annual Report of the Netherlands Cancer Institute. This report not only signifies our research community’s continued dedication to the fight against cancer but also highlights some special moments and changes.

In this report, we focus on the impact our organization has on cancer care and research. The impact we have achieved, is created by the community we form together, which enables us to do what we do. We accomplish a lot through combining our unique strengths in basic and clinical research, our cutting-edge treatments, and the way we are involved with our patients. Nurturing this community requires continuous investment, not only in time and in attention to our patients and research but also in time and in attention to each other.
