NKI x Pride Walk 2022

This year we are walking the route with as many employees from the Netherlands Cancer Institute and their friends/family as possible. Bring someone along if you want to. We start the Pride Walk at Dam Square, the place to remember and protest. The Pride Walk is a protest, and the annual march for equal rights of the rainbow community starts from here. 10.30 am - Assembly at Dam square
Look for people wearing white coats from NKI/AVL.

11.00-12.00 - Demonstration starting at Dam square

12.00-13.00 - Walk from Dam to Vondelpark
Marching in solidarity for queer liberation

13.00 onwards - Activites at Vondelpark
Different events in Vondelpark. Everyone free to pursue what they would like to enjoy. Example: 12-10: Main stage. Performances and music. Free entrance

Weather
25 degrees Celsius. Don’t forget to wear/bring sunscreen. Bring something to drink and a snack.

Clothing
Something colorful, but most of all be you. We are bringing a few white coats, but bring your own to wear above your clothing. (Making representation research/health visible).

Pride Park (Vondelpark)There is a main stage, music, a queer information market and presentations, such as the Storkie children's exhibition on non-binary animals. Etc.
