“I’m a mathematician, and I greatly enjoyed collaborating with people who work in different fields, at the Netherlands Cancer Institute, Amsterdam UMC, and CWI. For the Dutch company Nedap I am now working on software that can assist HR managers with their administrative work. As long as I can continue to use the applications I come up with in my head to figure out technical issues, I’m happy.”
Kleopatra Pirpinia will defend her thesis on Wednesday, November 4, 13.00 at the University of Amsterdam. Her thesis is called Exploring the potential and feasibility of multi-objective deformable image registration for breast cancer treatment. The research has been made possible through the financial support of the Dutch Cancer Society .
