First European-wide PhD program to train physician-scientists launched

Bridging the gap between lab and clinic

The Netherlands Cancer Institute has joined six other biomedical research institutes to train Europe’s next generation of physician-scientists. The PhD program will provide medical doctors with state-of-the-art biomedicine training and help bridge the gap between laboratory research and clinical practice.
