Pia Kvistborg worked at the NKI till July 2022 after which she joined Neogene Therapeutics.
She joined the lab of Ton Schumacher at the NKI in 2010 as a postdoctoral researcher and in 2016 Pia started her dependent research as a junior group leader at the NKI. She focused on understanding how the tumor-reactive T cell response, often rendered dysfunctional in cancer, can be improved with adequate support in terms of e.g. immunotherapies.
