Michael Hauptmann

Michael Hauptmann is a statistician. He was head of the biostatistics facility and had his own research group at the NKI from 2006 till 2019. His team concentrated on methodological and statistical research and was closely involved with several international cancer epidemiological studies focusing on cancer incidence and exposure to chemicals and radiation. They also provided statistical expertise on diverse topics ranging from gene expression studies to clinical trials. He continues his research at Brandenburg Medical School in Germany.
