Marcel Verheij

Marcel Verheij combines his clinical activities as a radiotherapy specialist with translational research. In 2018 he became group leader and together with his team investigated the mechanisms of radiation-induced apoptosis with a view to designing more effective treatment strategies by identifying targeted agents that increase the cytotoxic effect of radiation. In 2018 he moved to the Radboud University Medical Center.
