- In our twinning program, a basic researcher and a clinician work closely together on a day-to-day basis.
- A growing number of our clinicians also lead their own research group.
- Our Translational Research Board advises the Board of Directors on the integration of research activities, infrastructure and translational research themes.
- The NKI has a clinical introduction program for basic scientists.
- We invest in infrastructure that supports translation, including our Clinical Research Unit, Biobank and molecular pathology services.
- We actively promote national and international collaboration in translational research.
