In October 2022, I joined the group of Jacco van Rheenen as a PhD student.
I research the interactions between T cells and tumor cells and investigate how this mediates the response to breast cancer treatments.

2020 - 2022
Obtained my Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Biomedical Sciences track Cell Biology and Advanced Microscopy, from the University of Amsterdam.

2019 - 2021
I worked as a research technician at the department Laboratory Experimental Oncology and Radiobiology (LEXOR) at Amsterdam UMC.

2015 - 2019
Obtained my Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) in Biology and Medical Laboratory Sciences from Van Hall Larenstein, Leeuwarden. Within my Bachelor’s studies, I performed a research internship at the Netherlands Cancer Institute in the lab of René Medema.
