Lise Dauban

I am a molecular biologist eager to decipher how is genome organized inside a cell nucleus. During my PhD (CBI/Paul Sabatier University, Toulouse, FR) I used yeast S. cerevisiae to study the role of the cohesin complex regulatory subunits Wpl1, Pds5 and Eco1 on chromatin loop formation and regulation. I also analysed by confocal fluorescent microscopy the cell cyle and cohesin-dependent reorganization of the ribosomal DNA array.

During my work at the NKI, I will carry on investigating genome organization but this time focusing on the characterization of lamina-associated domains.
