Ilse Hoogvliet

In 2021 I obtained my Bachelor degree in Molecular Life Sciences at Radboud University. Currently, I am studying the master Medical Biology with specialization Medical Epigenomics, also in Nijmegen.

In September 2023 I started my final master internship as a student at NKI, in the group of Fred van Leeuwen. At NKI I will try to unravel chromatin based regulation mechanisms of tRNA genes in the genome. With Marlize, I will use an Epi-decoder strategy to look at regulatory mechanisms of tDNA transcription.
