Daphne van der Velden

After finishing my PhD in Molecular Oncology (under supervision of prof. Emile Voest), I decided to pursue a career in radiology. In February 2018, I started my radiology residency in the Amsterdam University Medical Center. My wish was to combine clinical work with research, so in March 2020, I joined the Beets-Tan group as a postdoctoral fellow. My projects here focus on imaging of neuroendocrine tumors (mainly GEP-NET), with the ultimate aim to optimize
staging, response assessment and follow up thereafter.
