Use of tumor tissue in collaborations

NKI can sometimes share patient-derived (tumor) tissue with other organizations for purposes of scientific research in the context of a collaboration with NKI. Requests from third parties for the use of patient-derived tumor tissue will be reviewed by the Translational Research Board of the institute. If approved, a Sample Transfer Agreement (in fact a specialized version of a material transfer agreement) will be drawn up for signature by the receiving organization.
