Stefan Prekovic

The research I do focuses on unraveling how nuclear receptors operate in disease. For my doctoral project I investigated the structure-function relationship of the androgen receptor in endocrine disorders and prostate cancer under the guidance of prof. Frank Claessens. Following that, in 2017 I started working in the group of Wilbert Zwart. As a senior postdoctoral fellow, I employ multi-omics and screening approaches to study glucocorticoid receptor biology in the context of solid tumors.
