Pieter Verhagen

I am currently doing my Masters in Chemistry of Life at Radboud University. I did my first internship at the lab of Maike Hansen, where I looked into the effect of mRNA decay on co-expression. Here, I developed my interest for transcription, which I will further investigate during my time at the NKI.

During my internship, I will look into how regulatory factors at enhancers influence the bursting properties of genes by means of live-cell imaging and smFISH.
