Marantha Kaagman

In 2021, I finished my bachelor’s degree in biotechnology at Inholland University of Applied Sciences, where I specialized in plant genomics. A year after, I decided to pursue a master’s degree in Biomolecular Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit.

My main interest is in genomics and molecular cell biology. In specific, I would like to learn more about structural genomics and its applications within the field.

Beginning in February 2023, I will start my 6-month internship in the group of Bas van Steensel, where my project will be focused on the 3D genome structure, and its effect on gene regulation.
