During this time, I gained clinical experience and I became interested in research and oncology. In May 2017, I started as a PhD student in the group of John Haanen.
My main projects focus on adoptive cell therapy in patients with advanced melanoma. During my PhD, I was the trial physician of a phase I clinical trial with gene modified peripheral blood T cells and I am coordinating a phase III clinical trial with Tumor Infiltrating Lymphocytes.
