I’ve obtained my PhD in the lab of René Medema at the Netherlands Cancer institute, investigating the reversibility of cell cycle checkpoints in response to DNA damage. After my PhD I worked in the lab of Marvin Tanenbaum at the Hubrecht institute, studying the regulation of RNA stability during the cell cycle.
In 2018 I moved back to the Medema lab, to once again investigate the interplay between proliferation and DNA damage. My current aims to identify determinants of DNA double strand break (DSB)-induced toxicity.
