In October 2015, I started as a PhD student on the TANGO project. In this project, we are developing an online patient decision aid to support women in making a well-informed decision about breast reconstruction. After development, we will evaluate its impact on the decision-making process in a multicenter randomized controlled trial. If proven beneficial, the tool will be implemented into clinical breast cancer care.
