Eveline Smit

In January 2021, I joined the Haanen group as a PhD student. During my study and work as a resident (not in training) in Internal Medicine, I developed a passion for personalizing cancer therapy and adapting our own immune system to fight cancer. Therefore, during my PhD, I will focus on improving the basis of cellular therapies with exploratory laboratory research as well as treating patients with experimental therapies in clinical trials.
