Master student

I study Technical Medicine at the University of Twente with a special interest in Medical Imaging and Interventions. In December 2017, I started my graduation research project at the NKI, where I focus on the use of micro-CT for linking pathology to diagnostic patient scans (e.g. to train automatic tumour segmentation). The final goal is to improve breast conserving surgery by creating an accurate tumour definition on pre-operative images, and combine it with a surgical navigation system with real-time tumour tracking to guide the surgical procedure.
