Personal details

During my master's program Molecular Mechanisms of Disease at the Radboud University, Nijmegen, I developed a strong interest in higher order chromatin organization. As part of my studies, I performed my final research internship at the group of Dr. L. Schermelleh at the University of Oxford, U.K, where I used super-resolution microscopy to visualize and quantify higher-order chromatin domain organization in mammalian cells.
During my PhD program, I will focus on the role of condensin II in shaping the spatial mammalian genome.
