Personal details

I finished my bachelor in 2009 with an internship at the Leiden University Medical Centre. Next, I completed a master at the VU University Amsterdam in 2011 during which I performed two internships, one at the VU University Amsterdam and a final internship at the Cancer Research UK, Cambridge Research Institute. I started as a PhD student at the Netherlands Cancer Institute in the group of Wilbert Zwart in 2011. My main project involves a molecular understanding of the agonistic effect of tamoxifen in endometrial cancer development and unraveling what enables the Estrogen Receptor in different cell types.
