Personal details

I am a molecular and cellular biologist interested in genome organization. I obtained my PhD at the CBI/Paul Sabatier University (Toulouse, France) under the supervision of Olivier Gadal and Frédéric Beckouët. I used yeast S. cerevisiae to elucidate the role of the ring-shaped cohesin complex regulatory subunits Wpl1, Pds5 and Eco1 on chromatin loops formation and regulation. I also analysed the cohesin-dependent reorganization of the ribosomal DNA array by confocal fluorescent microscopy.

During my work at the NKI, I will carry on investigating genome organization while focusing on the characterization of lamina-associated domains.
