Experience

I studied Molecular Biotechnology and I completed my Master Degree on Human Genetics at the University of Bologna in 2007.

In 2011 I obtained a PhD in Biochemistry studying a new drug against the oncogene MYCN in different Neuroblastoma mouse models.

Since January 2012, I joined the group of Hein te Riele working on the project 'Sister chromatid cohesion: lessons from yeast, mice and men' in collaboration with the group of Prof. De Winter, VUMC, Amsterdam and Dr. Van Attikum, LUMC, Leiden. In this project I will study the role of ESCO2 and DDX11 in carcinogenesis.
