Personal details

I earned my Master's degree in Medical Imaging & Interventions from Technical Medicine, University of Twente in 2014 after completing my graduation research at the NKI. The subject of my graduation work was MaMaLoc: the development of a magnetic marker for surgical localization of breast cancer. During my subsequent PhD I work on the clinical validation of the MaMaLoc technology, both for breast cancer and for other clinical applications. My interests lie on the intersection of medical technology, product development and clinical applicability.
