The Netherlands Cancer Institute hosts many seminars throughout the year, attracting leading national and international scientists. The Piet Borst Auditorium, which has recently been reopened after a major reconstruction, is a primary venue for seminars and provides cutting-edge presentation space for scientists. The Auditorium was named after Piet Borst, upon his retirement as director of science and chairman of the Board of Directors in 1999.
