Friday November 2th, Dr. Reuven Agami receives the Dr. Josef Steiner Cancer Award 2007 for his project "Identification and characterization of micro RNAs with the capacity to affect tumor growth and responsiveness to therapy".
Hans Lüscher, President of the Dr. Josef Steiner Cancer Research Foundation and a professor at the University of Bern: “I'm extremely pleased that the Foundation has found a convincing and strong prize winner who will advance the field of cancer research in the spirit of Doctor Steiner.”
