Prof. dr. René Bernards, head Molecular Carcinogenesis at the Netherlands Cancer Institute - Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital was has been selected as a member of the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW).
The Academy has a maximum of 220 regular members under the age of 65. Those eligible for membership are active scientists with an excellent scientific record. Members are appointed for life by the Divisions.
